Song: Six Stringed Parable

Let me tell ya’ll a story ‘bout this guitar I got here.
It was never glued together, it just suddenly appeared.
Now if you believe my story, if you think that it is true,
Then the same thing might apply to me and you.

If instead my friend, you’re thinkin’ that this guitar in my hand,
was created with a purpose by the loving hand of man.
Then the instrument of purpose that’s defined as me and you,
was created by a God beyond the blue.

Chorus

If your heart is filled with trouble, if you’re wondering why you’re here,
if you think nobody loves you, if you’re filled with doubt and fear.
Just call out for God to answer, and His answer will ring clear.
For he only wants to show his love for you.

I was not long on this planet , I was only twenty two,
I was beaten, I was broken, I did not know what to do.
All the world I saw around me, was in much worse shape than I,
and the thought of peace was just a filthy lie.

Then in quiet desperation, I sought out a man of God,
and he showed me things I failed to see and paths I failed to trod.
Then I entered into fellowship with others of his kind,
and the love we share has brought me peace of mind.

(Chorus)

There are many roads to travel, there are many paths to take.
The Baptists say we have free will and so the choice is ours to make.
There are friends who’ll try to help you, there are some who think they do,
but the way you live your life is up to you.

If you want to find forgiveness for the things that you have done,
don’t you know God loved the world so much, He gave His only Son.
That whoever should believe in Him, would never seek to stray,
and have love and life forever and a day.

(Chorus)
